Holidays are Fast Approaching
So I'm sitting here writing this while Mike is out at his office holiday party. He was nice enough to attend without the wife, so I could relax. Work has been really busy and difficult and I'm looking forward to the holiday break.
We've got all the presents wrapped, house decorated, cookies baked and now we are just waiting for Christmas Eve at the Stewart/Berens! Dinner of 7 Fishes, Church, Drinks and the hot tub...ah...gotta love that!
We're spending Christmas at home with just us and the dog. It's going to be pretty low-key, which will be different. This is the first year that I will spend the holidays without anyone from my immediate family, which scares me a little. I've spent 26 Christmases with my brother and this will be the first without him :(
We're heading to GR for the Hormuth family Christmas on Jan. 1st and will be staying with the Hagleys and Burns families at Hotel Hagley. Can't wait to see Michelle and her belly full of babies! I still can't believe your having triplets, Michelle! Hopefully, you'll let me make you dinner or something one night. Kyla, your still on toilet cleaning duty, right?
Then...back to the grind :(
I hope everyone who reads this has a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
XOXOXO

Deck the Halls!
Mike and I (or maybe it was just me) were excited to get our holiday decorations up in the new house for our first Christmas here. I convinced Mike to get two trees to decorate :)
It took us about 2 days over the Thanksgiving holiday to finish putting everything up, but I think we are now officially into the Christmas spirit! Most of my shopping was done on "cyber Monday" so I'm looking forward to a relaxing the next few weeks wrapping gifts and baking cookies.

Turkey Day!
We had a very blessed Thanksgiving this year with the Fearing family! Lots of turkey (14 lbs thanks to Mike's excitement at the grocery store), sides and dessert (yummy peach cobbler!).
Emi enjoyed sharing her whipped cream with everyone :)
Can't wait for next year!
